Balaji Vidyalaya

We cater to all young age groups, from pre-school to post-16. We aim to provide learning resources that are authentic, exciting and accessible. Our approach is learning-centred, favouring experiential and interactive learning on Dharma, Value-based, Performing Arts, Music, Languages, Slokas and Bhajans.

Our Volunteer teachers are experienced in most of the aspects of Sanatana Dharma and knowledgeable of a broad range of traditions. They are practitioners and also trained in educational theory and practice from eminent gurus. An opportunity to create an overall awareness of the Sanatana Dharma is provided to the children and allow them to explore and experience with confidence.

The Vidyalaya conducts a class on Saturdays and Sundays at the Temple premises, there are dedicated classrooms with decent facilities to provide a good learning atmosphere. The school term is aligned to the Birmingham primary and secondary school. There are workshops on Hindu culture and important festivals around the year. During each term, the children perform bhajans at the temple and an annual day is also organised at the term-end. The children will have an opportunity to share and perform the learnings to the larger forum, especially in front of the proud parents and other devotees.

Shri Balaji Vidyalaya aims to build a strong community (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam).
